Ottawa also uses a lot of graders to clear roads.  All of them are equipped with wings.

Also in Arnprior is this International single axle.  All of the Arnprior DPW rigs run live bottom dumps for spreading salt.

International Navistar and Viking-Cives (the plow and body manufacturer) has won a three year contract with NYS*DOT to provide them with International Workstar chassis Class 8 dump trucks, a mix of single and dual axles with winged plow setups and integrated dump body sander. These will replace the older Internationals in the fleet as well as some of the Mack Granites with Henderson bodies. They contain the stupid barely visible new logos on the doors.

Last year the New York State DOT started using these tandem trailer-plows on the interstates. The trailer swings out and plows the adjacent lane. Not certain of the manufacturer, but it's more than a little daunting passing (or being passed by) one of these units. They sure work, though.
