 I worked for KME before it was KME and they had bought out Car Mar. In fact I had named the dalmatian I  My cat  has her water dish which  carries the name Car Mar on it that once belonged to my Dalmatian.had "Car Mar". I still have some old decals of the Car Mar name.  You mentioned about the name different nameplates.   I contributed about 60 to 70 pictures of some  of the logo's I used to own. I had a collection of 325 different. I went through a divorce and sold most of them to a fire museum in Michigan. I still come across a few that fell through the cracks in my various moves. I started my collecting about  40 years ago. I have worked for a good number of manufacturers and still do some proposal drawings as a side line since I retired.
