Newark PD Chief of Police Ford Explorer[/quote] I watched some of the funeral proceedings on the tv news today, a great tribute to a great heroic officer. For those who don't know what happened, Officer Tommasso was killed when in pursuit of a 22 year-old with long criminal history who hijacked a Newark police car after being arrested and did so in handcuffs. The actor was from a suburban Cranbury, located between New Brunswick and Trenton. The funeral took place at the Basilica Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, one of the largest and most beautiful Roman Catholic churches in America.
