Here we have a shot of the Engine 1612. a 1970 alf 1000 series pumper that also served with Collingswood. Notice the 3rd Federal 17 light mounted behind the siren speaker. We liked the 3rd light concept that Collingswood had, so... we added one to ours. Ours in the second picture, however has clear lenses so we can change color with the mood & season.

The ride covered with all the lights isn't the same as the top photo is it? This ride looks to have a Mars 888 light on the nose, where all the others don't.

Just curious as to why you didn't keep the original Collingswood lettering on it? It would look more original.

Since the new logos were placed, we have received lots of good publicity, things were talked out with the fire station personel, & straightened out. Our good relations were restored & we will be attending their Christmas Parade on December 12th. This should prove to be exciting. That Mars light is not located anywhere on either truck. That is a 3rd Federal 17 light. We are considering adding one to her on a nose mount. Hope this answers the question & clears any rumors anyone heard. We have become subject to some nasty ones. But, that happens everywhere.

We have added a 2nd pa speaker for the power call siren, also allows the center light to shine through. Added a Mars 888 light. Ordering other lettering for the front. Pictured is 2nd Assistant Brigade Chief Ed Rodig. Our wiring genius. A Huge thank you goes out to the Texas Fire Museum for the light bracket mounting advice.
