1968 Hahn 1000gpm Pumper, Ex Doylestown Pa
#1
Here are pictures of my newest project. Purchased in 1968, this Hahn pumper was a factory demonstrator. Powered by a Detroit Diesel Motor, and driven through a 5 speed transmision, it was the pride of thier fleet. It had an 1000gpm pump and 500 gallon tank.

In 1983 it was sent to Hahn to be refurbished. When it returned it had a 750 gallon tank, 95 gpm bypass foam inductor, chrome fenders and a few other upgrades.

In 2000 Chrome wheel covers where added, followed with a white reflective stripe in 2001.

In late 2008 early 2009, the fire company decided it was time to let the chicken run free. My grandfather purchased it and now, its the pride of our collection.

The First two pictures I give credit to the original photographers. I forget thier names, by I think BA00049 can help me.

One final Picture. I made this up for the Doylestown Fire Company, this emblem was on the front of the truck. We decided that it would be good to give it back to the fire company. It still has one of these emblems on each side of the cab.

Great engine, I am very impressed with all the equipment. Did it all come with the equipment or was it a process to equip it?

Very nice....
