1981 American LaFrance Water Chief (ex Moraga-Orinda Fire District, CA)

A happy find at an auction yard, and a lack of local interest and low crowd turn-out over a Mothers Day weekend brought this home for the least I've yet to pay for a rig (and with a still fully functioning aerial to boot).



1981 American LaFrance Water Chief with the Century Series body, 75-foot aerial, 1500 gpm/300 gallon tank (was 500 gallons, but was cut down once in service for weight reasons). Replaced the front simulators (officer side lots), new graphics, applied the reflective striping, and reloaded equipment and hose.
