I thought this rig was long gone, but apparently not.

Tolleson, Arizona
Engine 161 (marked as, but I'm sure it's a reserve now)
1994 Pierce Lance

This rig is nicknamed "USS Missouri", which I'm guessing refers to it's battleship-like length.

Is it just me or is the bumper hanging low on the left?

It is - Ran into something, by the looks of it. The driver's side air horn is gone from the bumper, too (didn't make it any better looking, though... :-\ )

I caught Phoenix FD's Ladder Tender 9 on the front ramp this morning, just a quick iPhone grab shot.  It appears to be about the oldest LT in the fleet; anybody provide some updates?

I believe Phoenix is getting 2 or 3 new LT's

An unflattering iPhone grab shot of Phoenix (AZ) FD Engine 8 pulling stand by duty at a street festival in downtown Phoenix this weekend.  I liked the bright blue sky, palm trees and the pumpkin on the front grill!

Finally got a chance to shoot Peoria's new Engine 199.  This rig has been in prep since late Summer, and goes into service up north at Lake Pleasant in the next couple of weeks (so I probably won't ever see it again...).

2013 Freightliner M2-106/Rosenbauer 4x4,  1000/750/30a/CAFS.  This rig combines the attributes of Type 1x, 2x and 3x, all in one.
