Thanks Tim, Victorville list it as a M-1500 but isn't that the designation of the civilian model which this is not since it was transferred from the Air force?

The M-1500/M-4000 is the civilian Versions of the Oshkosh P-15 which the Southern Calif Logistics Airport still has last I heard.

They have one P-19 1985 1000 gpm/1000 gwt/130 Foam and two P-4's the one pictured and another 1975 that does not appear to have been rehabbed (They, meaning Victorville, list both as M-1500's) along with the 1982 M-4000 8X8 2400 gpm/4000 gwt/515 Foam all of which they got from the Air Force when George Air Force Base closed and the Southern California Logistics Airport opened.
