No-one! That's why we have a third car (or in our case, third Fire Truck) extension on our driveway. Our neighbors, ah. Most of them are used to one, two, or all three of the trucks being at or around the house. But just in case, we chose to build in a neighborhood with NO association! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

I think we'll be ok with our association. The neighbors both have young kids so I was able to get them pics on the truck, so that was fun. Michelle backs me into the driveway and always does a good job. She doesn't want me tearing off a piece of the garage <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Doh' />

You mean she doesn't want you going to Home Depot or Lowes? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' />

That'd be a fun one to explain!

"See, I was backing my Fire Truck into the driveway when I clipped the edge of the roof with the boom ..." <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' />

Wouldn't that make for a good commercial, or as you've said, telling the person in the garage dept. why you need a new garage, "well I was backing the fire truck up into the driveway when the rear step deck went thru the door"

Well, Frank, you showed us your driveway, and since you asked, here's ours. These are quick pictures taken between mowing the yard and getting ready to wash the Crown. No fancy poses with a nice background, just as-is. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

That truck looks great, love the rims and everything. I am jealous that yours can get a shine like that. Someday mine will go back to the original red. One question I never asked. Was your 'squrt an open cab originally? Thanks for the pics.

Well, out early this Saturdy morning and went over to the Port Richey FD, and with a thanks to Chief Fussell and today's crew on duty was able to get some shots of the Crown along with some of the stations rigs. That have a '91 KME and an '80 Mack MR Renault. I'll post a pic or 2 of them here to see. Here are some of the Crown and one of the duty crew in front of the Crown.

Hi Frank,

It's always been an enclosed closed cab ...

Hey Frank,

The best part about these photos is that our Crowns are probably better quality and will outlast either that Mack or KME. We're taking ours to the Firehouse parade in Baltimore, so I will try to get you some new photos. Was able to get a pair of Crown axe brackets thru a CFE posting. Take care!

I had the 2 original axe brackets on the truck, then a friend of mine thru our club found another and that is what sits on top the ladder with the axe in it. Those my friend are like gold, you are lucky to have found them. I need a pic once you get them mounted.
