In 1992, a local Budweiser Distributor bought the truck to use as an advertisement. During that time, the truck got a complete restoration, new paint, and gold leafing. In 2012, the gentleman that purchased the truck and restored it ended up donating the truck to East Howellsville VFD in Lumberton,NC. In addition, the Budweiser distributor gave East Howellsville a used GMC tractor and enclosed trailer to transport the rig to various fire prevention events. Talk about generosity!

That's a good question I don't know the answer to. I would figure Whiteville would have first dibs on the truck but I'm not sure.
