Nozzleman's New Adventures
#21
The wife and I had to run to one of the nearby towns for something today. And while were out I ran by the Sugarloaf Fire Company Station. What started out as just getting pictures of the Station ended up getting pictures of all of the rigs. The guys were sitting out front of the station and we practiced Social Distancing while I was there. One of the guys when I asked about getting shots of the rigs offered to pull them out and already had a place to pull each rig.

First up is their newest rig

My immediate first thought on this rig was that it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of Fire Engines. Poor thing.

I saw the Hillsdale Engine sitting outside of the shop down by me again and was able to get this picture of it. I know it is a Seagrave but would love additional information on the rig.

It is X- Hillsdale, NY.  It is a 1979 Seagrave/FWD, it is a 4x4 chassis, and was refurbished in early 2000's.  Not sure on pump/tank size, might have been changed when it was refurbished.  Was utilized mainly as a water supply rig after refurbishment.  Retired around 3-4 years ago.
