Wow great shots!! Baltimore hasn't seen fire like that in years!

If I heard right this went to a 5-11+2 Special Alarms.

IIRC the last CFD fire that went above a 5-11 was in 2003 at 19th Place and Sangamon (5-11+4).

Steve,

Great shots, thanks!  Were you close enough to warm up a little?

Great shots Steve! If I wasn't on shift the next day, I would've been there. Out of curiosity, what is the policy (if you can share), for CFD to call for an Interdivisional Box through MABAS? Or how many of the city companies have to be committed on long duration calls before it will be considered? I know it happened for the LaSalle St high rise fire a few years back, and for EMS during the marathon a few years ago, are there any other times that an Interdivisional was requested?

The amount of fire is incredible. The water does little to knock it. It basically burns itself out!

Haven't seen a fire around here for quite a few years!!

Great pics. Fire was in the news in the Netherlands with great shots from a frozen building/cars after the fire.

Awesome pics! I'll echo the previous statement of 'thanks for standing out in the cold' to get those shots. Much appreciated!
