Wow Jason,

That is an interesting color scheme. Is all of their apparatus like this, or something new?

Buckethead, this is the first truck to be painted up this way but it is the direction that the chief wants all new apparatus to look like

Our last stop on Saturday was Perry, GA.  We went there to photograph their new Rosenbauer Commander pumper that carries a 65' Snozzle, but it has not yet been striped and lettered.  We did not know abouit their brush rig until we arrived.  Both apparatus are a change from the previous white/red paint scheme and represent the local school colors.

this is Army surplus and was delivered around the same time as this engine if you'd like to get technical, and painted this way to match the new direction of the fleet

Great photos! I had high hopes for the Perry Rosenbauer when I saw a photo of just the cab/chassis with the boom and no body. Too bad the roll-ups aren't painted, it would have been so much better, and it needs something on the crew cab doors, maybe the town it serves since it doesn't actually say Perry on it anywhere from what I can see, just "PFD"
