Death of well-known Firepics member
#1
It is with heavy hearts and regret that the moderators and staff of Firepics.net announce the death of Steve Skipton, a firefighter with Goose Creek, SC Fire Department.  Steve lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, August 23, 2014.

Known here on Firepics are "camdenfirespfn," Steve was a former chief if the Bellmawr Park (NJ) FD and a very active contributor to Philly Fire News.  He was a New Jersey paramedic, and volunteered to operate at the Twin Towers in the days following 9/11.  After moving to South Carolina, he became co-owner of SConFire.com as well.  His images have been published in national and regional publications, as well as various internet sites including Firepics.net.

Steve leaves behind a wife, 19 and 23 year old boys, and twin 7-year-old girls.
