4th of July Fires
#1
It's hard to believe no one (on Firepix) had a fire over the 4th. In the Boston area.

Until the mid 80s, when I left, there were non-stop fires, especially on the night

before the 4th.

Those that were in Detroit saw some decent action, but it seems that everyone has their own site now, and Firepics will soon become a thing of the past since no one shares anymore.

Dick, back in the sixties and seventies we would "spark" Lynn

and you would see fires all night.  Those were the days!

Would this have anything to do with the use of fireworks?

I was going to buff in Bklyn on the 4th but other things came up and I opted out.......Regretting that as things were pretty hopping there for a while after several years of relative inactivity.
