Structure Fire Pooler, GA 10/28/18

At 13:49 Pooler Fire was dispatched to a structure fire in the Berwick Lakes neighborhood in Unincorporated Chatham County. Engine 64,62,61,63, Truck 61, Chief 60 & Chief 61 (as Safety) responded. Engine 64 arrived in 3 minutes and found the 2 story home with heavy fire showing from the B & C sides with fire through the roof. Engine 64 went interior as they had their own hydrant across the street. Units operated for about 20 minutes before using (3) 1.75" lines and a 2.5" attack line the fire was under control. Units remained on scene for over two hours conducting overhaul.
