Highrise Firefighting Question - Cyber - 06-15-2017

Related to the Grenfell Tower fire.

FIREFIGHTERS:

Has this tragedy prompted your department(s) to review your response procedures for highrise incidents?  Has it prompted or do you anticipate it prompting your OFI personnel to a) examine all highrise apartment buildings for problems, b) review current fire codes and push for tougher codes and/or c) provide OFI with greater authority to remove residents in at-risk buildings if the risk is significant?

RESIDENTS OF HIGHRISE APARTMENTS:

Has this tragedy made you rethink where you live?  Did it make you review and enhance yours and your neighbors responses to any incidents in your building?  Does your building conduct regular tests of their alarm system, protocol, and have an occasional evacuation drill?

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on everything.
